Hyundai Motor Company is a Korean company that manufactures cars.
Hyundai began producing cars in 1968, with a license-produced Ford Cortina. 1975 began the production of its first own car, small car Hyundai Pony. It was also exported to a number of countries around the world, including Britain, the Netherlands, Spain and Greece. Hyundai’s other own car, Hyundai Stellar, came in 1983. The engines in both the Pony and Stellar was manufactured under license Mitsubishi engines.
In December 1990, the brand sold in Sweden, with the models Pony, Sonata and Coupe, and within a few years they reached sales success.
